  1. I was looking forward to this when I first heard about it but I note that reviews haven’t been too favourable. Maybe it’ll turn into something later on. As it is it has made my “potential sale purchase” list

    1. Yeah lots of negative reviews of long fans of the games since the 90s. I think most of it is due to technical issues though, not game play

  2. Why do they make tanks so slow in these games? Tanks are not that slow they have always been significantly faster than a man on foot.

  3. Tim Stone (reviewing at RPS) has voiced a number of concerns over The Bloody First. While he acknowledge that it may be a quirk of review code, he found units to have around a 200m detection circle even on flat open terrain. He also noticed the AI’s strategy appeared to be based on how many units the player fielded, not how many units the AI should be able to detect. He saw a fair amount of questionable tank behavior in particular, but also questionable unit behavior in general.
