    1. Josh nyman it鈥檚 someone that loves hardstyle music. look up some hardstyle songs and you鈥檒l see why it鈥檚 oh so good!

  1. I still can鈥檛 believe we鈥檙e so close playing this game. I kinda want to hibernate until it comes out

  2. They did say that the map isn鈥檛 as big as Witcher 3 but that the Night City map adds verticality. Going up skyscrapers and underground areas. It鈥檚 looking good.

    1. Mebble that鈥檚 great. I鈥檝e always preferred linear games with a story than open world games with absolutely nothing in them but boring side quests. Hence why I wasn鈥檛 a big Zelda BOTW fan. See I had a feeling if the world is as big as Los Santos but more dense (which it will be) then it will be a homerun. It doesn鈥檛 need to be massive, just a great map

    2. If you think about it, the map is not that small because of the ability to move up and down different levels (vertical). It looks like there is a lot going on in the space that is provided.

    3. @Edward its said to not be as close, but GTA V could not be any less shallow. Most of the area is rather undetailed grassland and even the city is super simple compared to what we’ve seen of CP2077 so I think we will be good

    1. @Sander Smit I agree. I like to do and see everything I can in the game. It’s a new world so why not. I don’t like if a game trades quality immersion for just a larger map. As far as filler and side quests, if it’s not boring and repetitive, why not do them? You are getting more for your money.

    2. @Hara Yanto Maybe so but I personally had more fun with botw. It’s just a personal preference thing. Then again, I haven’t played much genshin impact because I’m having a hard time getting into it.

    3. @Sander Smit It depends. BOTW does giant, empty world right imo. It has secrets, the world is pretty, and you feel rewarded for looking at every single edge of everything ever. Some games are just huge and empty because they can be, and it gets boring fast. That’s how games like Fallout 4 or most Ubisoft games feel. It also helps that in BOTW moving around is fun, with gliding and climbing. Most games with huge maps just have walking and running, which gets repetitive. Both huge, empty maps and small, dense maps can be great, they just have to be done well.

  3. We need verticality more than open maps. Detailed rooms and less outside only games makes it much more enjoyable.

    1. @jan arts I see it as less an “open world” game and more “open city”. I agree that past open world games benefited from wide open expanses, but I think Cyberpunk will benefit from a claustrophobic, dense city vibe. That’s one of the main characteristics of cyberpunk settings: giant cities with too many people trying to coexist inside them.

Awesome name bro

    3. @Cameron K I completely agree. That’s the vibe they were going for. Probably very hard to make a super large map with that kind of density. That’s probably why large game maps aren’t that dense everywhere. You have your urban epicenter and then your less populated outskirts.

    1. OMG FFXV! LARGE and BORING AF! I wish there was more to do between towns! I guess that’s why they added a self driving car. Even manual driving was boring.

    2. @Kummakummakummakummakummachameleon I feel yahhhh. I’d be shocked if this game wasn’t great. Just a question of whether it will be ground breaking or not!

  4. The map being “small” is notimportant, the quality is, just look at any Yakuza game and you’ll see that less can be more and density and quality are key

    1. @Jeeroy Lenkins yeah, bioware games gave really detailed hubs, I like open world games but I’d rather have a really detailed smaller map than a massive barren map.

    2. @Benjamin Menken I actually hate open world games mostly because they are never done well. Empty, tedious and boring. Much prefer Yakuza 0 sized maps with a lot of life in them or hubs.

    1. The New AAA game jitters wont start for me until the final week before it releases…I hate to say this but… I will probably lose sleep the day before it releases and I will probably not go into work on Nov 19th due to…illness LOL

I’m going to cash in all my brownie points I been saving with my wife and prep her so she knows she probably wont have a husband for November 19th, 20th and the 21st

  5. cyberpunk got it right. less time traveling more time playing. finally a game that understands that, travelling for 4 minutes to get in a 10 second gun fight is easily the most annoying part about open world games.

    1. or you know, you could enjoy something other than the gunfight….. don’t buy open world games if you want call of duty? gamers these days. absolute morons.

  6. Anyone who has played a yakuza game will tell you that bigger isn鈥檛 always better. The map in yakuza is smaller than average but more than makes up for it with content and interactivity

    1. 1 easter egg already
Mama switched to net running and became the leader of the voodoo boys , she is the one you hear saying about breaching the black wall in deep dive trailer.

    2. Random crazy dude in glasses screaming “I AM DALOOOOW” in the middle of the street before being run over by a police car

  7. Rather have an inch wide and a mile deep than a mile wide and an inch deep.

Case in point, launch day No Man’s Sky.

    1. @RoyaltyFreeAbuser I didn’t say there were 3 dimensions. I didn’t say there was any volume either. He only gave 2 dimensions, so it’d just be a flipped plane.

    2. @Ayylmao A volume only exists if it has 3 dimensions. So far there’s only two dimensions mentiones. So all three of you aren’t making any sense

  8. What most folks forget: The Cyberpunk map is layered. Meaning it is also scaled vertically, not only horizontally. Meaning we will go high and low ^^

  9. Jill’s casting is a miss for me. I wouldnt mind a poc playing a character, but with how the country is right now it feels so thrown in and forced. But if they say jill sandwich or master of unlocking, i’ll take everything back.
