I had high hopes for this when the cinematic came out but quickly disappointed by the gameplay

Iāve waited years for a werewolf game but this one unfortunately doesnāt have everything Iām looking for yet. Ill still play it though when it eventually ends up on ps+

Go play Skyrim. It is the closest thing to a werewolf game.

@Mason Thorpe Maeziyon In Skyrim the Circle was like a generous quarter of the way there in terms of dark werewolf gaming experience.
The game looks like you’ll have fun with it for about half an hour before it gets repetitive and bland
@LoneWolf 9520 idc what anyone thinks, ORIGINS was amazing and the rest are decent, an old style ac game would be great aswell but even more deep than the last games, focused on stealth, different paths, rdr2 levels of detail

@BeardOfWar The AC series has fallen way out of greatness for me. Haven’t played it sense Origins and I didn’t even care for that one either. I wonder what they’ll do when they run out of cultures to reskin it with.

I already bought the game and loving it because anything with werewolves makes me all giddy like a child in disney world, but still like to watch these vids to see what others think.
I think Iāll save the money, redownload Skyrim and just become a werewolf on there.

Man, these reviews really make me sad. At least it’s functional and FINISHED, and not another live service open world with crafting or another over designed dark souls clone. I’m gonna get it. Could be this year’s Man Eater.
I’m playing Cyberpunk 2077 and I’d say it’s a good game. The glitches is the only thing that makes it bad but it doesn’t take away from the overall game.
It’s a low budget game, and it shows. Sure what’s there works.. but there isn’t a whole lot to it sadly.
Seems a bit like a stretch overall. If i exxagerate, it would be like saying that Pong is good compared to Cyberpunk becasue pong doesn’t have bugs.. technically true, but they clearly didn’t try to achieve anywhere near the same level of complexity.
Maneater is one of the best games ever hands down.

I have yet to play the game, but I am excited because I am a huge fan of werewolves. Top 10 favorite mythical creatures. it does look and feel like it’s going on that grand theft auto route where they will have a story mode and later on introduce an online mode for cacs that’ll probably be a bit more in-depth, but more repetitive.

Prototype: the werewolf edition
@eon001 Still a prototype-style game indeed where it looks like the game wants you to feel POWERFUL, with most enemies being little more than ragdolls in your way that are quickly disposed of…
But yeah, Werewolf doesn’t look like it has all the options prototype 2 had when it comes to combat that allowed you to flavor otehrwise samey battles by changing weaponry.

It is an improved “Skyrim” (werewolf part) game
Love these B titels more the last 2 years, more fun with these than those big broken triple A titels that needed 10 updates before being actually playable

@KingLattice well combat is actually really good and fun the only thing’s I don’t like about it is the graphics and animations but I keep coming back for the fighting parts it’s too much fun
